Winner Announced
Lucas Grainger-Brown is the winner of The Writing Prize 2023 and receives $10,000 for his writing about the question: Why is ‘A Voice to Parliament’ important and how will it be of benefit to Australia?
Lucas is in his early thirties and holds a PhD in political science from The University of Melbourne. Lucas is a policy analyst at the Australian Government Department of Treasury.
The Writing Prize is designed to encourage younger Australians to write about significant societal issues. It is part of www.writing.org.au, a philanthropic initiative about facts, opinions and ideas.
