Prize $1,000

The Sorrento Young Writing Prize is a Future Leaders Initiative. The Prize celebrates the annual Sorrento Writers Festival and its mission to bring writers and readers together. It recognises talented young writers in the Mornington Peninsula Shire.

Year 11 and 12 students are invited to submit their writing (800 to 1,000 words).

The writing can be fiction or non-fiction and on any topic.

PRIZE
In 2027 the prize winner will receive $1,000.

ENTRIES
Entries, from Year 11 and 12 students in the Mornington Peninsula Shire, are required in a word document by 1 March 2027 to: enquiries@futureleaders.com.au
